At first I was a little skeptical of switching FTP programs, it was setup the way I needed it and I was used to the way it worked. After trying the Coffeecup Direct-FTP program I realized I had been wasting my time with others. Coffeecup once again puts the tools you need in an easy to use environment but that’s not all, one of the outstanding features of Coffeecup Direct-FTP is the ability to edit files online. For me I have seen this offered before in other programs but never seemed to work properly and always wanted to use it. Coffeecup Direct-FTP doesn’t just allow you to edit your files, Coffeecup Direct-FTP gives you the proper tools you need to edit files. Simply drag and drop a file that is online into the editor and you have at your fingertips many of the HTML tools that you will need to make changes. The tools for editing files in the Coffeecup Direct-FTP program are some of the great tools that are part of the Coffeecup HTML editor. Coffeecup Direct-FTP can add Bold tags, Paragraphs, images, links and more to the document you are editing with a click of a button. Once you are finished making the changes you want simply save the file and you’re done. No need to upload the file because you just edited it on the server!

Aside from this wonderful advancement in FTP programs Coffeecup Direct-FTP also has a connection wizard that again makes things simple for beginners. I know when I started in networking 20 years ago connecting to different servers was sometimes a hassle and could have really used a program like this. Another great feature of Coffeecup Direct-FTP is the Servers “start folder” which you can set for different server connections but Coffeecup Direct-FTP has taken this a step further. If your connection times out and you have to reconnect Coffecup Direct-FTP will remember the folder locations you were at when you were disconnected ,so instead of having to start at your set start folders it goes back to the folders you were at when you were disconnected. This also saves a lot of time so you won’t have to be clicking through directories to get to the folders you need to access.
